Chris Gayle expresses his interest to become the head coach of this team

Recognised as Universe Boss, Chris Gayle is one of the most loved cricketers all across the world. Fans love to watch him bat and also loves the way he interacts with other cricketers on the field.

Recently, the West Indies powerhouse has appointed himself as the head coach of Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League, as he took to Twitter and wrote, "Hey @thePSLt20 โ€“ I will be the new head coach next season for @KarachiKingsARY. There's no argument in this one! #UniverseBoss."

Karachi Kings has been led by the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, as the side has won only one out of the 9 matches they played in this edition of the tournament. However, Chris Gayle will be remembered for his love for the shortest format of the game and his record speaks how dangerous he is in the T20 format.

I had the opportunity to play at Mumbai Indians with him: Kieron Pollard

On the other side, after losing both three-match ODI and T20I series against India, Kieron Pollard shared a few words in the virtual press meet on Sunday and said, "Surya is a world-class player.

I had the opportunity to play at Mumbai Indians with him since he first came in in 2011. Great to see he has grown a lot since then. He is doing great things for himself and India as a 360-degree player. All batters can take a page out of his book."

And, in the post-match conference, the skipper of the Men in Maroon said, "Yes we lost 3-0 but the guys put their hands up and gave a good account of themselves. I donโ€™t think we should be disgraced by what has taken place.

We are not happy losing, let me put that on record. Itโ€™s not like that at all. We are trying to win cricket games. I thought it was a good series. We are a work in progress and will get some time to think about things."
