Watch: Lahiru Kumara engages in fight with Liton Das

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are now locked in a three-wicket battle in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 super-12 stage in Sharjah. Dasun Shanaka, the Sri Lankan captain, decided to bat first, and he had his bowlers fail to do much as the Tigers were comfortable at 41/1 in the powerplay itself, but Lahiru Kumara was the only one who removed Liton Das's wicket in the powerplay due to a superb catch by the captain.

Soon after Liton's firing, Kumara and Das got into a heated argument about an idea he tried to implement. Mohamed Naim came from behind Kumara and pulled him away from Liton, who was walking away. Kumara and Liton had to be separated. The umpires had to move quickly because the players were shoving, pushing, and trash-talking each other.

Instead of the T20 World Cup, it seemed like an NBA/NFL game! Liton Das tried to drive a full ball over the ring, but it was caught at mid-off at head height as he retreated away from his leg. However, the match referee will provide a more accurate assessment of the wicket after the game.
