IND vs NZ: Watch - Indian fans chanting "Pakistan Murdabad" during the Kanpur Test
India and New Zealand were up against each other in the 1st Test match at the Green Park in Nagpur on Thursday. The stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first. Before that, team India is heading into this after conquering the three-match T20I series against the visitors.
Moreover, this is the second time that India whitewashed New Zealand at home. Talking about the Test match, Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India. New Zealand's Kyle Jamieson provided the first breakthrough and sent back Mayank Agarwal for 13 runs.
Then Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill played some quality shots in the middle and added 61 runs for the second wicket partnership. Once again Kyle Jamieson did the job for New Zealand by cleaning up Shubman Gill who completed his fifty for his team.

Ravindra Jadeja was the new man who took the charge along with Shreyas Iyer and batted well throughout the day. Both Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer completed their fifty and put up a 113-run stand for the fifth wicket partnership.
Both the batsmen remained unbeaten on 50 and 75 runs and will be looking to post a mammoth total on the next day. Besides, during the match, the Indian fans started to motivate the Indian players by chanting "Jeetega bhai jeetega, India jeetega" which changed to "Pakistan Murdabad".
