IND vs SL: Watch - Ravindra Jadeja celebrating in his style in the 2nd T20I
In the recently concluded second T20I match between India and Sri Lanka, the hosts won the toss and decided to take the field. Batting first, Sri Lanka posted a quite challenging total of 183 runs with the help of Pathum Nissanka's 75 off 53 balls.
Danushka Dunathilaka and the skipper Dasun Shanaka has also contributed well with the bat as both the batters scored 38 and 47 runs respectively. However, following the total posted by the opposition, India chased down the target within 18 overs while losing just three wickets from their side.
Shreyas Iyer has been the top-scorer for India who remained unbeaten on 74 runs along with Ravindra Jadeja who took the charge by coming in the middle and scoring an unbeaten 47 runs for his team. In the end, India defeated Sri Lanka and has conquered the three-match T20I series by 2-0.

After winning the match, Rohit Sharma shared a few words about Sanju Samson in the post-match presentation and said, "We have a lot of talent in that batting unit, we will keep giving them the chances, it's up to them to make the most of it.
I thought Sanju showed how well he could play with that knock, it's all about taking your opportunities. Lot of these guys are quite talented," Rohit Sharma was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"They just need an opportunity to go out there and express themselves. There are a lot of guys waiting in the wings as well but their time will come as well. We've got to look after the guys who have been in and around the team for a while.
We understand all these guys possess a lot of talent. So it's just about giving the opportunity and the backing from our side," asserted Rohit Sharma.
