Wasim Jaffer Badly Trolls âCricket Pakistanâ For Their Recent Dig On Indian Fans
Cricket Pakistan's official Twitter account took a jab at Indian supporters during the present T20 World Cup match between Afghanistan and New Zealand, and former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer was quick to respond. If Afghanistan wins this game, India has a possibility of making it to the semi-finals of the competition.
Attempting to take a dig at the Indian fans, Cricket Pakistan tweeted, âHow are you feeling, Indian fans? #NZvAFG #T20WorldCupâ. Replying to it, Wasim Jaffer commented, âHad a heavy lunch between 12-1, still feeling full Winking face #NZvsAfg #T20WorldCupâ
39 matches have been played thus far, and just three more are to be played before the knockout round begins. Babar Azam is Pakistan's captain, and the team has won its first four games in Group 2 to earn a spot in the knockout stages.

On Monday, November 7, India will face Namibia in their last league encounter at the Dubai International Cricket. However, even if they win, they won't be able to qualify for the tournament. In order for India to reach the semi-finals, they must defeat Namibia and hope that Afghanistan defeats New Zealand. Notably, India defeated Scotland with an emphatic victory.
After the win over Scotland, skipper, Virat Kohli said, âThe bowlers were excellent, and then KL and Rohit did really well. We spoke about the 8-10 over bracket before the start, didnât want to really go too hard because if you lose wickets, then an extra 20 balls could cost. We thought that if they play naturally, runs will come quickly.â
He further added, âIf you look at our practice games, we have been actually batting like this [aggressively] only. Just a couple of aberrations [Pakistan and New Zealand] happened, where we just couldnât got those two successive good overs. Teams bowled well too, and created pressure on us. But we were just two overs of good batting. Jadeja bowled really well, also Shami was quite good.â
