Isha Negi names her favourite cricketer on Instagram

The wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is a talented cricketer who has the ability to win the games single-handedly for his team. The youngster came to the spotlight when he smashed his maiden hundred in IPL 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and remained unbeaten 128 off just 63 balls.

On January 16 2019, he once again hit the media by posting his girlfriend picture named Isha Negi on Instagram. They became the talk of the city after that and soon grabbed the headlines as fans started to share the picture on all social media platforms.

Rishabh Pant shared the picture with the captions "I just want to make you happy because you are the reason I am so happy" and the same picture was also shared by Isha Negi with the captions "My man, my soulmate, my best friend, the love of my life. @rishabpant."

Rishabh Pant's new role as captain

The left-handed batsman is the newly appointed captain of the Delhi Capitals due to the injury of Shreyas Iyer as he ruled out of the entire season.

After being appointed as the new skipper Rishabh Pant said "Delhi is where I grew up, and where my IPL journey began six years ago. To lead this team one day is a dream I`ve always harboured. And today, as that dream comes true, I feel humbled."

"I am truly grateful, especially to our team owners, who considered me capable enough for this role. With an amazing coaching staff and a plethora of accomplished seniors around me, I can`t wait to give my absolute best for Delhi Capitals," the 23-year-old added.

In the previous season, Delhi Capitals lost the finals against the Rohit-led Mumbai Indians and finished as the runner-up in the tournament. With the new skipper, it will be interesting to see the tactics of Rishabh Pant.

Moreover, the Australian batsman Steve Smith also added about Rishabh Pant's captaincy "I am excited to see Pant as captain.โ€ He is an incredible player who has performed well in the last few months.

They have taken the game to a new level. I understand that the captaincy will suit them. I am eager to play under his captaincy and hope that this season will be good for the Delhi Capitals."
