A fan accuses Ben Stokes on Twitter; the all-rounder responds

 

Indian Premier League is one of the love tournament all-around the globe. Not only the fans whereas cricketers also love to watch without missing any moment of the game.

Moreover, a plethora of players often chooses the Indian Premier League over their nations which have raised a lot of controversy among the fans on social media. Most of them come from the England country who represents likes to be the part of the league.

The opening batsman Jason Roy who looked in good touch with the willow has been roped by the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise as a replacement for injured Mitchell who pulled out of the IPL. In addition to that, Ben Stokes has arrived in India to take part in the cash-rich contest.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Stokes said "It's great for the competition that it's come back to its roots after taking place in Dubai last year, which was an achievement in itself. Fingers crossed that fans will be allowed back in at some point during this IPL because they are a huge part of this game and why we play.

It was an amazing feeling to have fans back in the grounds on our [England's] recent tour of India - even though 100 per cent of the crowd were against us! Being back in the thick of that atmosphere was amazing!"

Besides, the 29-year-old has been engaged with a fan who questioned him "Chasing a pound note again, once back in an england shirt will be too tired to bowl 🙄🙄"

What's next for the England all-rounder?

Ben Stokes will be looking forward to having a great competition with Rajasthan Royals. During the previous season, Ben Stokes joined with the franchise in the half but didn't fail to contribute his best for his side.

In 8 games, the left-handed batsman scored 285 runs that he played at an average of well above 40 including a hundred to his name. However, he failed to deliver the best with the ball as he picked up only two wickets throughout the league.

Considering the recent form that he showed against India, Rajasthan Royals might try him on the top-order and will leave him to bowl his quota of overs.
