Watch: Finn Allen's 71 off just 29 balls against Bangladesh
The latest talk on the social media platform is Finn Allen's blistering knock against Bangladesh in the 3rd and final T20I match. Before that, let us have a small debate about the youngster.
He played for the New Zealand Under-19 team during the U-19 World Cup in 2018 hosted by New Zealand. After that, he performed well in the state levels and domestic circuit to earn the maiden call from the national side.
The 21-year-old made his international debut in the 1st T20 against the visitors where he bagged a golden duck to his name. After that, he was given one more chance by the skipper Tim Southee but failed to contribute with the bat and went back to the dressing room after scoring 17 runs for his side.
However, the latter changed things in the 3rd and final match against Bangladesh as he destroyed the likes of the opposition bowlers all around the park.

Summary of the match:
Due to the interception of rain, the match was reduced to 10 overs per side as New Zealand went on to bat first after asked by the visitors. Martin Guptill who is one of the destructive batsmen of the modern era opened the innings along with the youngster Finn Allen.

Both the batsmen started hitting from the first over and added 85 runs for the first wicket partnership before Martin Guptill removed by Mehedi Hasan. Guptill scored 44 off just 19 deliveries and could have hit the century if he wasn't dismissed on that occasion.
On the other end, Finn Allen didn't care about the loss of Martin Guptill as he continued to dominate the opposition bowlers and scored 71 off just 29 balls and was dismissed by Taskin Ahmed in the 10th over of the game.
The hosts posted a mammoth total of 141 runs on the board. In the second innings, Bangladesh batsmen failed to reach the mark and been all-out for 76 runs in the final over. Todd Astle and the skipper Tim Southee showed the best with the ball and bagged 4 and 3 wickets respectively. The 21-year-old won the Man of the Match award.
