Among the 15 members is 19-year-old ambidextrous spinner Nivethan Radhakrishnan, who moved with his family from India to Australia in 2013. 19-year-old Radhakrishnan was a net bowler for Delhi Capitals during the first half of the 2021 IPL in India earlier this year.

"Our roster includes players from all disciplines with experience in the domestic cricket environment, and many have shown prominent performances in a variety of strong competitions this season," said Clark. "The U19 World Cup offers players exceptional development opportunities and we look forward to seeing them represent their country with distinction."

"It was a challenging selection process, but we believe in our system and have been watching our U19 players' development closely over the past two years," said Graham Manou, Head of National Development for Cricket Australia, on Tuesday (December 14th) . “From a Talent ID perspective, we've had access to world-leading technology that has enabled wider and deeper conversations between coaches and players.
