As a captain, I take responsibility for both my bowling and batting tonight: Shadab Khan
After winning the match, the skipper of Islamabad United, Shadab Khan took the responsibility for his performance during the post-match presentation. "I thought both teams were looking to lose tonight I guess, but we played better and won.
But lots to learn, our bowling let them score 180 and we collapsed while batting but cricket is a game where we can learn a lot. As a senior player and captain, I take responsibility for both my bowling and batting tonight. I played an irresponsible shot and did not bowl well," Shabad Khan was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"The main concern was about me in those departments. At the end of the day, if we get 2 points that's what matters. This year we don't have the bowling to limit other sides to low totals.
If you are looking for an excuse you can say that. The physio says it will take time as all 3 departments you are involved in and often the ball hits the same finger. No excuses but still the recovery is going on (on his injured hand)," he added.
