Wriddhiman Saha has been threatened by a journalist; Ravi Shastri reacts
Indian cricket is getting caught on controversies on social media for the last couple of months. In that case, the wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has recently caught the spotlight after being insulted by a journalist on Whatsapp.
The right-handed batsman took to Twitter to describe the issue to the fans and media and posted screenshots of the messages sent by the journalist.
Considering the reports from other sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is likely to make an investigation on that matter which will help the 37-year-old to stay away from that unwanted messages.
Moreover, they also want to know whether any of the other cricketers have gone through this type of unwanted conversation with the journalists or with any others.

According to the reports from Times of India, an official from BCCI said, "Saha is a contracted cricketer of the BCCI. The onus is on the Board to not let its own player down. That aside, if there is any kind of a nexus at work here, one has to look into it," quoted by Times of India.

Moreover, the 37-year-old has shared a few words in an interview with ESPNCricinfo and said, "The biggest shock was that when I scored 61 against New Zealand in Kanpur despite being injured, Dadi texted to congratulate me and said I didn’t need to worry about anything till he is there. Naturally, I was shocked at what I was told immediately one series after."
However, according to the reports from CricTracker, their source claims, "First the Virat incident happened, then all this. And then he’s (Saha) posted that tweet of the screenshot (of messages he received from a journalist). What the h*** is happening? The Board has to act because enough is enough," quoted by CricTracker.
