WPL, UPW vs GG: Watch - On-field umpire gives bizarre decision, UP Warriorz taking review of wide-ball
UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants clashed with each other in the 3rd match of the Women's Premier League on 5th March, Sunday. Coming to the game, Sneh Rana, the skipper of Gujarat Giants won the toss and opted to bat.
After electing to bat first, Gujarat Giants posted a defendable total of 169 runs on the board. Harleen Deol played a crucial knock for her side, scoring 46 runs from 32 balls with the help of 7 boundaries.
Chasing the target, UP Warriorz didn't get the start they expected as they lost 5 wickets for 88 runs. However, Grace Harris took the charge in the middle and smashed a quickfire 59 runs off just 26 balls with the help of seven fours and 3 sixes.
Sophie Ecclestone also played a valuable knock of 22 off just 12 by coming down the order for her side. Kiran Navgire has displayed mature batting at the top order as she scored 53 runs for her team.

In the end, UP Warriorz won the match by chasing down a total of 169 runs with three wickets in hand. Grace Harris received the Player of the Match award for her unbeaten 59 runs from 26 balls. She was seen happy while getting the reward and shared a few words during the post-match presentation.
"I started poorly. You need to get the conditions to know how to play. Was thankful that Sophie motored along. Great feeling to finish the game off. I actually knew what I wanted to do. Was getting a bit antsy when there were so many breaks with the DRS at the end.
