Watch: Virat Kohli slams a journalist after being asked to add Ishan Kishan replacing Rohit Sharma

The most-awaited rivalry between India and Pakistan has come to an end with a dramatic finish. Talking about the match, Pakistan won the toss and asked India to bat first.

Pakistan got an exceptional start to the innings as they removed both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul for cheap numbers. Then Suryakumar Yadav played some good strokes before being dismissed by Hasan Ali.

However, Virat Kohli stood strong on one end and got good support from Rishabh Pant. He scored 39 off 30 balls and failed to clear the fence in the spell of Shadab Khan.

Virat Kohli has looked good and added 57 runs for his team before walking back to the dressing room. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja played decent knocks and in the end, India posted a decent total of 151 runs on the board.

Summary of the match:

Babar Azam - Mohammad Rizwan

In the second half, the scene was different as the openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan didn't give a single opportunity for the opposition bowlers. They overwhelmed the Indian bowlers and dominated them all around the park.

Babar Azam 69 off 52 balls whereas his partner Mohammad Rizwan scored 79 off 55 deliveries and guided their team to their first even win against India in the World Cup event.

After the completion of the match, Virat Kohli has been asked a few questions in the press conference and had a few words about the game.

During that conversation, a reporter asked the Indian skipper that "Do you think it's a mistake to not play Ishan Kishan and he could have done better than Rohit Sharma?."

Kohli was very quick to react and said "It’s a very brave question. What do you think sir? I played with the team which I thought what the best. What is your opinion? You will drop Rohit Sharma from T20 internationals? Do you know what he did in the last game?." After that, Kohli said "Unbelievable. Sir, if you want controversy, tell me before so that I can answer accordingly."
