Watch: Virat Kohli argues with on-field umpire over leg-before call

In the Eliminator match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli was furious with on-field umpire Virender Sharma after he gave three erroneous rulings against RCB. The RCB reversed all three of those rulings when the DRS intervened.

A few days ago in Sharjah Virat Kohli, the RCB skipper who is in his last season, told the umpire, Virender Sharma, that he was very dissatisfied and upset with him for making three wrong judgments in the game against the RCB.

Sharma awarded Rahul Tripathi not out after Yuzvendra Chahal struck him on the pads for his third blunder. To his credit, Virat Kohli made good on his decision to make use of the review, which showed the ball striking the stumps on hawk-eye.

The third umpire requested that Sharma reverse his judgement to rule the batter out rather than not out. Virat Kohli expressed his frustrations to the umpire after celebrating his wicket. He was enthusiastic as usual, noting that Sharma had made three errors and that KKR's innings still had more than 10 overs left.

The umpire then spoke with the RCB captain after the over was finished. Virat Kohli's actions may have long-term ramifications.

Both Shahbaz Ahmed and Harshal Patel were ruled out lbw by Sharma after both had struck the ball with the bat, which was the first of the three mistakes. After a thorough investigation, both judgments were reversed. Note that RCB lost two runs as a result of the umpire's erroneous decisions.

RCB had set a score of 139 for KKR in their last game. After removing KS Bharat, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell for ducks, Sunil Narine put RCB's batting in jeopardy.
