Watch: Tim Southee bowls a stunning delivery and sends James Bracey's stumps for a walk

 

Currently, New Zealand and England are engaged in a two-match Test series in England. In the first Test, Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first. They got a fine start to their innings as Tom Latham and the debutant Devon Conway added 58 runs for the first wicket partnership.

Ollie Robinson picked the first wicket for his team and sent Tom Lathan back to the pavilion. Kane Williamson joined with Devon Conway but failed to contribute with the bat. He went back to the pavilion with the numbers of 13 and Ross Taylor also followed him after scoring 14 runs for his team.

Then Henry Nicholls played a crucial role in the middle and steadied the ship along with Devon Conway by adding 174 runs for the fourth wicket partnership. Devon Conway reached his maiden double century in his debut game which will be one of the unforgettable moment for him.

Devon Conway stood strong on the other end whereas Ollie Robinson and Mark Wood went through the lower order and cleared all of them with single-digit scores. Then came Neil Wagner who played a quick cameo off 25 off 21 balls. Coming to England's innings, the hosts had a trail of 378 runs in front of them.

Kyle Jamieson opened the account for New Zealand by sending back Dominic Sibley for a duck. Zak Crawley also departed after getting two runs to his name. Then Joe Root and Rory Burns played a vital role in the middle and added 93 runs for the 3rd wicket. Kane Williamson once again gave the ball to Kyle Jamieson who went on to get the breakthrough for his side. It was a superb delivery that tasted the edge of the willow and went straight to Ross Taylor.

Ollie Pope played a little cameo and scored 22 runs before being dismissed by Tim Southee. After that, the right-arm pacer continued to dominate the opposition batting alley and sent back both Daniel Lawrence and James Bracey for a duck. But James Bracey wicket was a crucial one as he delivered a fiery delivery that made the stumps walk on the field.
