Watch: Rishabh Pant stunned everyone by hitting one-handed six

When the Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings met in Qualifier 1 on Sunday in Dubai, Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant hit Chennai Super Kings bowler Shardul Thakur for a stunning one-handed six.

Thakur delivered a sinking slower ball of 114 kph on the second delivery of the 16th over. When Rishabh Pant saw that Thakur had been hammered for a few of sixes by Prithvi Shaw, he immediately went after him.

This time, the left-hander took advantage of the slower pitch and swung at the sinking ball. When he made contact with the ball, his lower hand slipped and fell to the ground. The shot still had enough force to clear the long-on defender and go for an 86-meter strike.

CSK bowlers pull back after Prithvi Shaw's blistering knock:

Prithvi Shaw began his innings in a streaky fashion, top-edging Josh Hazlewood for a four and a six after being sent into bat first. Deepak Chahar hit four boundaries off his next over when he found his centre of the bat.

Shikhar Dhawan, on the other hand, managed to get rid of Hazlewood and go to MS Dhoni. Shreyas Iyer will be the other victim of the Australian pacer. Shaw, on the other hand, was unfazed, and he smacked Shardul Thakur for two sixes in the fifth over to help DC reach fifty runs.

After that, Shaw scored his half-century off 27 balls, including two fours against Jadeja. Moeen Ali bowled an excellent delivery to Axar Patel, who was moved up the order.

DC was dealt a major blow by Jadeja, as Shaw (60 off 34) was caught at long-off by du Plessis after he holed out to him. The CSK cranked up the heat in the midfield.

Shimron Hetmyer hit Ali for a six over mid-wicket as the scoring pace dwindled. Thakur was launched by Rishabh Pant who knocked down a one-handed six from long-on.

Dwayne Bravo and Hazlewood would lose further ground as both left-handers flexed their arms. DC are now 18-over 153/4 at the time of writing.
