Watch: Nitish Rana uses slang word after misses boundary

The Kolkata Knight Riders are currently taking on Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the double-header. Both the teams have had an impressive start to the second half of the IPL 2021.

Both the teams have defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in their last two games before facing each other. While Chennai would be looking to finish in the top 2 spots, Kolkata will be eager to win the remaining games to qualify for the playoffs.

Coming to the match, KKR decided to bat first after winning the toss against Chennai. But, they lost their in-form openers Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer cheaply. However, Rahul Tripathi put the pressure back on Chennai with a fantastic knock of 45 off 33.

Soon after losing both Morgan and Tripathi at regular intervals, Andre Russell joined Nitish Rana at the crease. Russell decided to do what he has been doing over the years. On the other hand, Rana was struggling to face the Chennai bowlers.

After a couple of good shots from Rana, he wanted to hit another boundary to the third-man side. But, he could only get a single and used a slang word as his timing was poor.

With Russell gone after hitting a couple of boundaries and a six, Dinesh Karthik played a quick cameo to take them to a good total. While chasing a massive total of 171, the CSK openers gave them a brisk start.

However, after a massive stand between Faf - Gaikwad and Faf - Moeen, Kolkata made a strong comeback by dismissing all the settled batsmen. At the moment of writing this article, the game can be changed in favour of anyone.
