We have seen a lot of great fielders over the years in the game of cricket. They have been entertaining fans all around the world with their fielding skills.
Another such brilliant fielding skill was spotted by the fans recently. The incident took place during the ongoing T20I series between New Zealand and Bangladesh.
Though New Zealand won the second T20I match to win the series, the visitors gave a good fight by smashing the bowlers of hosts all around the park. They reduced the overs due to the bad weather condition.
The hosts were on 173 for 5 in 17.5 overs when the rain starts to play. Bangladesh had to chase down 171 from just 16 overs thanks to the DLS. But, they could score just 142/7 in the 16 overs.
While chasing a huge target, Soumya Sarkar was in full flow as he scored 51 off just 27 deliveries. However, he did not get any support from the other end to chase the big target.

However, he was not able to grab it and it would have been one of the best catches in history if he did it. Even though his effort was great, he was not happy with the effort after he had failed to catch.
