Watch: Australian players dancing of the tunes of percussion drums in UAE after winning the T20 World Cup 2021

 

Australia and New Zealand faced off each other in the finals of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Having a look at the match, the skipper of Australia, Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to field first. 

New Zealand got a decent start to their innings as both the batsmen went back to the pavilion after scoring 28 and 11 runs respectively. Josh Hazlewood provided the first breakthrough that was followed by Adam Zampa of Martin Guptill.

However, Kane Williamson batted extremely well through the innings and dominated the Australian bowlers all around the park. He scored 85 runs from 48 deliveries that included 10 boundaries and 3 sixes to his name. With the help of the skipper, New Zealand posted a challenging score of 172 runs on the board.

Australia openers Aaron Finch and David Warner opened in the innings for Australia but didn't provide the start that the team expected. Trent Boult has given the first breakthrough for his side by sending back the opposition skipper Aaron Finch for 5 runs.

However, David Warner and Michell Marsh played brilliantly in the middle and put their side on the driver's seat. Mitchell Marsh straightaway on the attack by smashing six off the first ball he faced off Adam Milne.

Both the batsmen dominated the bowlers all around the park and 92 runs for the second wicket-partnership. Kane Williamson once again asked Trent Boult to provide the breakthrough. He did the job for his skipper and removed the dangerous David Warner who scored 53 runs from 38 balls.

Then Glenn Maxwell joined with Mitchell Marsh and continued to do the same that David Warner did against the opposition bowlers. In the end, Glenn Maxwell hit the winnings runs as Australia won the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 for the first time. 

After winning the match, Australian players started to celebrate and become emotional on the field. They also danced out of the stadium as the video went viral on the social media platform and the fans also enjoyed the video.
