Watch: Akeal Hossain grabs a flying one-handed stunner to dismiss Liam Livingstone

 

England and West Indies have faced off each other in the 14th match of the T20 World Cup 2021 on Saturday. Having a look at the match, the skipper of England, Eoin Morgan, won the toss and decided to field first.

West Indies not only lost the toss whereas they lost the match as well. They didn't get the expected start and lost both the openers Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis for cheap.

Shimron Hetmyer got back-to-back boundaries in the 5th overs bowled by Moeen Ali. However, he wanted to clear the 30-year circle once again but failed to do, as he simply handed a catch to the opposition skipper Eoin Morgan.

Chris Gayle who was struggling on the other end has also sent back to the dressing room in the final delivery of the powerplay. The English bowlers completely overwhelmed the West Indies hard hitters including Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell. In the end, West Indies have surrendered to England for just 55 runs.

Jonny Bairstow - Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler and Jason Roy opened the innings for England. Jason Roy seemed to be in good flow before being dismissed by Ravi Rampaul in the fourth over of the match.

Then Jonny Bairstow smashed two boundaries before handing over a simple catch to Akeal Hossain. Following him, Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone have also returned to the dugout with cheap numbers.

Then finally the skipper of the England team, Eoin Morgan joined with the wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler and decided to finish the chase. Both the batters didn't let the opposition bowlers overwhelm them and continued to rotate the strike.

In the end, Jos Buttler finished the match by smashing a boundary off Kieron Pollard's spell and registered their first win in the mega-event. Besides, Akeal Hossain won the hearts of the fans after grabbing a fabulous one-handed catch of Liam Livingstone.
