PSL 2023: Watch - Simon Doull takes social media by storm after his comments on Hasan Ali's wife Samiya Arzoo go viral on internet

 

The former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull has caught the headlines after his comments on Hasan Ali's wife Samiya Arzoo went viral on social media platforms.

The moment they occurred during the close encounter between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans. Having a quick look at the game, batting first, Multan Sultans posted a challenging total of 205 runs on the board.

Shan Masood top-scored for his side by slamming 75 runs with the help of 12 boundaries. Tim David also did well in the middle order as the Australian batter come up with a quick 60 off just 27 balls that included 4 fours and 5 sixes.

Chasing the target, Colin Munro and Shadab Khan did well in the middle after the top order failed to add runs on the board. In the end, Faheem Ashraf finished the game for his side and remained unbeaten on 51 runs which includes 5 fours and 2 sixes under his belt.

Despite losing the game, the skipper of Multan Sultans, Mohammad Rizwan praised Faheem Ashraf for his excellent batting who thrashed 51 runs off just 26 balls and helped his side to chase down the target in the last over of the game.

"If you look from the start, we are looking at 220 but they bowled well, we did not finish well and credit to Faheem Ashraf for his innings. The pitch is a belter and luck was with them, we did not finish well with our bowling.

The difference was the 20 runs we did not get at the end while batting. The last two matches we lost, all those weaknesses were fixed today but we lost due to the finishing," Mohammad Rizwan was quoted saying by Cricbuzz after the post-match presentation.

However, after the thrilling victory, Simon Doull on air said, "She has won it. She has won a few hearts as well I believe. That is superb, absolutely stunning. And the victory."
