PAK vs WI: Watch - Nicholas Pooran has been dismissed by Mohammad Wasim Jr with a perfect yorker

 

West Indies is currently engaged with Pakistan for a three-match ODI and T20I series which has kicked off on December 13, Monday. The 1st T20I match between West Indies and Pakistan has held at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Talking about the match, West Indies won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first. Pakistan didn't get the expected start from their skipper Babar Azam who has been dismissed by Akeal Hossain in the first over of the game.

Fakhar Zaman also returned to the dressing room after scoring just 10 runs for his team. However, Mohammad Rizwan and Haider Ali played well in the middle for Pakistan after losing back to back wickets during the game. Both the batters added 105 runs for the third wicket partnership and completed their fifty as well.

Mohammad Rizwan and Haider Ali have been sent back to the dressing room after scoring 78 and 68 runs respectively. Mohammad Nawaz played a quick cameo by smashing 30 off just 10 balls and helped his team to post a challenging total of 200 runs on the board.

Chasing the target posted by the hosts, Shai Hope and Brandon King opened the innings for West Indies and failed to provide the start that their team expected from them. Brandon King has been removed by Mohammad Nawaz for just one run.

The skipper of the side Nicholas Pooran didn't impress with the bat at all and was sent back to the dressing by Mohammad Wasim Jr for 18 runs. Devon Thomas and Shamarh Brooks also failed to contribute in the middle and warmed the bench with single-digit scores.

Shai Hope who was playing a calculative knock has also been removed by the Pakistan bowlers after scoring 31 runs for his team. Rovman Powell, Romario Shepherd and Odean Smith tried their level best and added 23, 21 and 24 runs by coming down the order for their side.

In the end, Pakistan won the match by a margin of 63 runs. During the match, the skipper of West Indies has been cleaned by the 20-year-old Mohammad Wasim Jr, as he bowled a perfect yorker to dismiss the dangerous batsman who already smashed a boundary and 2 sixes for his team.
