India vs New Zealand Live: Watch - Bhuvneshwar Kumar cleaned up Daryl Mitchell with a stunning delivery

 

The first match between India and New Zealand has started at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The skipper of the side, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided that they will bowl first.

Daryl Mitchell and Martin Guptill opened the innings for New Zealand as usual. However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar provided the start that his skipper and team expected from him. The right-arm quick removed Daryl Mitchell for a duck in the first over of the match.

Then Mark Chapman and Martin Guptill played well in the middle for their side and added a crucial partnership of 109 runs for the second wicket. Ravichandran Ashwin gives the breakthrough for his skipper by sending back the well-settled Mark Chapman for 63 runs.

He continued the flow by removing Glenn Phillips in the same over as well. And Deepak Chahar got the big fish when he got the wicket of dangerous Martin Guptill for 70 runs.

At the end of the first innings, Nw Zealand posted a quite challenging total of 164 runs with the help of Martin Guptill's 70 and Mark Chapman's 63. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin showed their experience and scalped 2 wickets each.

Following the chase, the regular openers Rohit Sharma and Trent Boult went on to open the innings for their side. Both the batsmen gave a flying start to the innings as they straightaway went on to attack the quality pacers Tim Southee and Trent Boult.
