Babar Azam got out attempting to play a gully cricket shot

Prior to Sunday's high-voltage T20 World Cup 2021 encounter against India, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has made a significant declaration. A few days before to the match, he said that his squad had so much strength that they may defeat India this time. Despite Babar Azam's best efforts, he fell victim to the South African fast bowler's fury. Rabada delivered a superb yorker in the warm-up game in Abu Dhabi, sending Babar Azam back to the dugout.

Pakistan's fourth over was bowled by Kagiso Rabada. He delivered a pinpoint yorker to Babar Azam on the sixth ball. When the video of Babar's dismissal became viral on social media, it reminded people of another popular video of him batting in his home and nailing the hit.

However, Babar Azam was unable to judge the length of the ball this time, and the ball struck the stumps before he could get his bat on it. In a state of sorrow, Babar Azam made his way back to the outfield. He hit two fours and a six in his 12-ball 15-run inning.

The early loss of the captain's wicket did not deter Pakistan, who went on to score a massive 187 runs against the Proteas. Fakhar Zaman (52 retired) played a superb inning whilst Babar Azam (no contributions) struggled miserably. Two fours and five sixes helped the left-handed batsman reach half a century in 28 balls. Contributions were given by Shoaib Malik (age 28) and Asif Ali (age 32).

Babar Azam, Pakistan's captain, is sure that his side can defeat India this time. When this occurs, the Pakistani team's attention shifts from the previous matches' results to the forthcoming one.
