Ashes 2021: Watch - Ollie Robinson castles Cameron Green for a golden duck

 

Australia and England were currently engaged in the first Test of Ashes 2021 at the Gabba in Brisbane. Talking about the match, the visitors, England, won the toss and opted to bat first. Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed opened the innings for England.

However, Australi's left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc removed Rory Burns from the very first he bowled in the match. After that, Dawid Malan walked in at No.3 for England but couldn't manage the likes of Josh Hazlewood. He has been sent back by the right-handed pacer for 6 runs.

Later, the skipper of the side, Joe Root joined with the opener, Haseeb Hameed. However, he also failed to tackle the attack of Josh Hazlewood and was dismissed for a duck. Ben Stokes who was coming from a break from professional cricket has been removed by the opposition skipper Pat Cummins for 5 runs.

Haseeb Hameed who was looked good on the other end has also been dismissed by Pat Cummins for 25 runs. Then Ollie Pope and Jos Buttler built a crucial partnership in the middle for England and added 52 runs for the sixth wicket.

Mitchell Starc provided the breakthrough for Australia by sending back Jos Buttler who was looking dangerous on the other side of the crease. The right-handed batsman scored 39 off just 58 balls which compromises 5 boundaries as well.

Then Ollie Pope followed him after being dismissed by Cameron Green for 35 runs. Chris Woakes played some good strokes by coming down the order for his team. Ollie Robinson and Mark Wook returned to the dressing room for a duck and 8 runs.

Chris Woakes who was taking on the opposition bowlers has been dismissed by Pat Cummins for 21 runs. In the end, England has been bowled out for 147 runs. Following the score, Australia didn't get the expected start as Marcus Harris has been removed by Ollie Robinson for 3 runs. 

But David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne has overwhelmed the opposition bowlers and added 156 runs for the second partnership. Both the batters returned to the dressing with numbers of 94 and 74. Steve Smith also went back to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs.

Then Travis Head has been outstanding with the bat and scored an unbeaten 112 runs and is still on the crease. Cameron Green has been cleaned by Ollie Robinson for a golden duck. He was stunned by the bowler and had to go back to the dugout.
