Zimbabwe and India clashed in the 2nd ODI match at the Hazare Sports Club in Hazare. Talking about the game, KL Rahul, the skipper of India won the toss and invited the hosts to bat.

Batting first, Zimbabwe has been bowled out for 161 runs by the visiting side. Sean Williams has been the best with the bat for Zimbabwe, scoring 42 runs with the help of 3 fours and a six.

Chasing 162 runs, India won the game quite comfortably with more than 22 overs in hand. After losing 4 wickets under 100 runs, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson steadied the drowning ship and took the game on their shoulders.

With Deepak Hooda being dismissed for 25 runs, Sanju Samson completed the game for India and remained unbeaten on 43 runs with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes under his belt. With that, India won the match and won the series as well.

Winning the game, the Indian skipper, KL Rahul shared a few words about the game in the post-match presentation. "Not really, we do bat deep. Good for some of the guys to get time in the middle.

I do need some time in the middle, obviously playing this series was important for me to take some runs and confidence away, unfortunately, didn't work out today," said KL Rahul.

"They do have some quality bowlers, I saw that in the previous series against Bangladesh as well. The bowlers came strong at us, a good challenge for us.
