Watch: Delhi Capitals' team bus has been attacked in Mumbai

 

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to conclude in just a few days and another bad news has arrived for the fans. The team bus of Delhi Capitals' reached Mumbai ahead of their first match against Mumbai Indians on 27th March, Sunday.

However, the team bus of Delhi Capitals has been attacked by some miscreants and the Mumbai police directly filed an FIR report after that attack. According to the reports from India Today, local police was quoted as saying, "An FIR has been registered against 5-6 unknown persons under sections 143,147,149,427 of IPC for allegedly attacking the Delhi Capital IPL team parked bus."

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals management has appointed Shane Watson as their batting coach ahead of this season. He will be joining with the Rishabh Pant-led side who will be eyeing the IPL title and want to break the losing streak.

The former Indian cricketer and the coach of the Punjab Kings franchise Wasim Jaffer has claimed that Rishabh Pant will become a better wicket-keeper batsman than the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni.

Wasim Jaffer said this during a Q/A session with ESPNCricinfo, "Yes, he can definitely become a better wicketkeeper-batter than Dhoni. At such a young age, he has already played some of the most incredible knock so in the coming 8-10 years, I feel he’ll be more mature and with more experience, he can definitely be better than Dhoni," Rishabh Pant was quoted by CricTracker.

The left-handed batsman will be now eyeing the IPL trophy as his franchise is one on the list that has yet to win the title in the history of the Indian Premier League. So, let's wait and see how the youngster going to win the title in this edition of the cash-rich contest.
