Star Sports shared an enthralling promo ahead of Virat Kohli's 100th Test match

Rohit Sharma and his men have another job to be completed for the nation as they have to face Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series, as the first Test is scheduled to kick off on 4th March, Friday.

The first Test between India and Sri Lanka is scheduled to be played at the PCA stadium in Mohali. Notably, it will be the 100th Test for the former all-format skipper Virat Kohli and another good news for him and his fans are they are allowed to cheer for the right-handed batter in his 100th Test.

In addition to that, it will be the first Test for Virat Kohli as non-captain, as he previously led the side against South Africa in their backyard. Moreover, Star Sports have released a special promo for the right-hander and posted it on their official Twitter handle ahead of Virat Kohli's 100 Test match.

The former Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Parthiv Patel has come up with a statement for Virat Kohli and said, "His number speaks for him itself. The batter averages 50 in Test cricket and has taken Indian Test cricket at new heights during his captaincy tenure.

I have played under Virat’s captaincy and the attitude he brought in the Test side is remarkable," Parthiv Patel said during a conversation with Cricbuzz.

"Every match is important for Kohli even if we are trailing behind or have already won the series, we have to play every match with the same intensity. Playing 100 Test match is a big achievement for any player.

Even in Indian cricket, very few have achieved this landmark. We will now take Virat’s name alongside with some Indian greats including Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, and Sachin Tendulkar who have achieved this landmark," he added.
