However, both the batters had to walk back to the pavilion with zero after being dismissed by Ishan Porel and Pritam Chakraborty. After that, the skipper of Uttar Pradesh, Karan Sharma also returned to the dressing room, scoring just 10 runs and got cleaned up by Ishan Porel.
However, Priyam Garg who came in at number three looked good with the bat and put up an 89-run stand with Rinku Singh for the third wicket. But once again, it was Ishan Porel who provided a much-needed breakthrough for Bengal by sending back Priyam Garg for 53 runs.

Rinku Singh failed to convert his 79-run knock into a triple-digit score as he was dismissed by Pritam Chakraborty. And in the later stages of the game, Shahbaz Ahmed got the wickets of lower-order batters whereas Shivam Sharma remained unbeaten on 10 runs.
In the end, Uttar Pradesh posted a total of 198 runs with Ishan Porel being the star for Bengal in the first inning of the game. However, the scene was different in the next innings when Bengal came out to bat. Shivam Mavi removed all three top-order batters Abhishek Das, Koushik Ghosh and Sudip Kumar Gharami for cheap numbers.
