Pakistan and England clashed with each other in the 2nd Test match at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. Talking about the game, England's skipper Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to bat.

Batting first, England put up a total of 281 runs with the help of Ben Duckett's 63 and Ollie Pope's 60-run knock. Abrar Ahmed has been the star bowler for Pakistan as he scalped 7 wickets in his spell.

Coming out to bat, Pakistan have been bundled for 202 runs and got a lead of 79 runs to start their second innings. Babar Azam was the top scorer for Pakistan as he added 75 runs whereas Saud Shakeel played a crucial knock of 63 runs for his side.

With a good lead on the board, England once again collapsed for 278 runs as Abrar Ahmed picked 4 wickets in the second innings of the game. After Ben Duckett's 79-run knock, the England fans also praised to see Harry Brook who stood firm in the middle and smashed 108 runs for his side.

Ben Stokes also played well coming down the order and smashed 41 off just 51 balls and helping his side to provide a target over the 350-run mark. Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan provided a good start at the top order adding 66 runs for the first wicket.

Despite losing wickets, Saud Shakeel and Imam-ul-Haq batted well in the middle and scored 94 and 60 runs respectively. However, the English bowlers made a strong comeback into the game and bowled out the hosts for 328 runs as the visitors won the game by a margin of 26 runs.

Losing the game, Babar Azam shared a few words in the post-match presentation and said, "We were not up to the mark in the first innings. There were a couple of soft dismissals but were well short of the mark. We fought back with the ball and bat in the second innings but it was not enough.

There were a couple of good partnerships but in the end, we did not finish well as a batting unit. It was a dream start for Abrar and he used the conditions well. Looking forward to the Karachi Test and we will do our best," Babar Azam was quoted as the same as in Cricbuzz.

However, during the game, a controversial decision from the third umpire Joe Wilson changed the fortunes of Pakistan as the odds lost the wicket of well-settled Saud Shakeel as Ollie Pope took the catch off Mark Woods' spell.
