IRE vs IND Live: Watch - Indian fans giving roaring response after Hardik Pandya announces the inclusion of Sanju Samson

 

India and Ireland are currently engaged with each other in the 2nd and final T20I match at The Village in Dublin. Taking a look at the game, Hardik Pandya, the skipper of India won the toss and decided to bat.

Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson opened the innings for India, as the left-handed batter has been dismissed by Mark Adair for 3 runs. Then Deepak Hooda joined with Sanju Samson as both the batters went high on the opposition bowlers all around the park.

They didn't show any mercy to the Ireland bowlers and smashed boundaries in every over bowled by the opposition alley. Moreover, Sanju Samson got his maiden half-century in T20Is and went back to the dressing room with the number 77. After that, Suryakumar Yadav has been dismissed by Joshua Little for just 15 runs. 

Maiden century for Deepak Hooda:

Despite Losing back-to-back wickets, Deepak Hooda continued his fabulous form with the bat and dominated the opposition bowlers all around the park.

Moreover, he completed his maiden hundred in T20Is for India and become the fourth batsman after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul to achieve this feat. However, Joshua Little got the wicket of Deepak Hooda when he was batting on 104 runs.

His enormous innings included 9 fours and 6 sixes. After his dismissal, Craig Young removed both Dinesh Karthik and Axar Patel off the very first ball they faced.

In the end, India posted a mammoth total of 225 runs with Hardik Pandya remaining unbeaten on 13 runs. Chasing a huge target in front of them, Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie opened the innings for Ireland and provided the start that they expected.

Paul Stirling smashed 18 runs in the very first bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, during the toss, Indian fans applauded Hardik Pandya when he announced Sanju Samson has back in the side.
