IPL 2022: Watch - Worst review was taken by RCB in the history of Indian Premier League

In the 6th match of the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore competed with Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders on 30th March, Wednesday. Talking about the game, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bowl.

Likewise the first game, Kolkata Knight Riders opened the innings with Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer but didn't get the start that they expected. The RCB bowlers have gone through the batting line-up and bowled out the opposition for 128 runs.

Andre Russell was their top scorer, having scored 25 runs for his side. Following the total posted by the opposition, Kolkata Knight Riders kept the match very tight as they got early wickets of the opposition skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli.

However, Sherfane Rutherford and Shahbaz Ahmed stitched an important partnership and Dinesh Karthik and Harsh Patel did the finishing for their side. During the game, Faf du Plessis took the worst review during the spell of Harshal Patel.

As Royal Challengers Bangalore won their first match in this tournament, Shahbaz Ahmed shared a few things about the match and also claimed how he wanted to take the game away from the opposition team.

"Thinking was to bat with positive intent, wanted to maintain the flow of runs and take the game as deep as we could. Wanted to take chances off their fifth bowler - Russell and Venkatesh Iyer.

There was help for the seamers off this pitch. Difficult for spinners as there was a lot of dew. Willey and Sherfane had a good partnership," Shahbaz Ahmed was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"Crucial situation, I got only four and got out. I am really happy. Specially with the dew, it is very hard to bowl. My favourite footballer is Neymar and that is his celebration which I do.

When I go play, I don't take any pressure. That's why I feel I got success," Wanindu Hasaranga was quoted as same as in Cricbuzz,
