IPL 2022: Watch - Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell had a hilarious convo in the dressing room

Royal Challengers Bangalore got a good start from their openers and with some vital contributions from the middle, they went on to post 173 runs on the board.

Mahipal Lomror got good numbers in the middle as he scored 42 off 27 balls for his team. Chasing the target, Chennai Super Kings also got a good start but the middle-order batters failed to contribute with the bat.

Devon Conway has been the best with the bat for CSK, scoring 56 runs for his side. In the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by 13 runs and moved to the 4th spot on the points table. However, now both sides will look to back themselves in their upcoming fixture.

We have been very good in the bowling department: Faf du Plessis

After winning the match, Faf du Plessis had a few words about the game in the post-match presentation. "We definitely needed that. We put up a decent total. We are moving in the right direction. We have been very good in the bowling department.

I thought 165 was a par score on that and anything above that was a bonus. I thought the Powerplay was a good time to score. The fielding was amazing. Some great catching and good bowling indeed," Faf du Plessis was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"We are very lucky to have experienced guys. Very good to have me lean on the senior players. Just keep improving in the batting department. We want one of the top four to bat through.
