IPL 2022: Watch - Nathan Coulter-Nile drops an easy catch off Aiden Markram against SRH

 

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals have clashed with each other in the 5th match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League on Monday. Having a look at the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and asked the opposition to bat first.

Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a good start to the innings and added 58 runs for the first wicket partnership. Then Sanju Samson and Devdutt Padikkal scored 55 and 41 runs for their side.

In the end, Shimron Hetmyer took the charge and scored 32 runs from just 13 balls and helped his team to post a huge total of 210 runs on the board.

Chasing the target, Sunrisers Hyderabad didn't get the start that they expected as their top four batters have been sent back to the dressing room with poor numbers. However, Aiden Markram took his time and scored some valuable runs for his team.

Washington Sundar, who ended the first half by giving away 47 runs in his spell has shown some serious hitting by coming down the order for his team. He demolished the opposition bowlers and added 40 off just 14 balls for his team.

In the end, Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of 61 runs and are gearing up to face Mumbai Indians in their upcoming encounter on 2nd April, Saturday.

On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to solve the issues in both the batting and bowling departments and have to make a comeback in their upcoming clash against KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants who have also lost their first match against Gujarat Titans.

Besides, during the match, Aiden Markram who remained unbeaten on 51 has thrown his wicket when he was batting on 19 runs. However, Nathan Coulter-Nile failed to collect the ball off Yuzvendra Chahal's spell and missed the catch as well.
