IPL 2022, MI vs SRH: Watch - Mumbai Indians fans disheartened after Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjay Yadav drops an easy catch

Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad went on to clash with each other at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to take the field.

Priyam Garg opened the innings in place of Kane Williamson for Sunrisers Hyderabad. They got a good start in the powerplay overs and managed to post a huge total of 193 runs on the board.

Rahul Tripathi has been exceptionally well with the bat for Hyderabad, scoring 76 runs for his team. With a huge target in front, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the innings and provided the start that their side expected from them.

However, after their dismissal, Tim David was the only man who took the match to the end. He smashed 4 consecutive sixes off T Natarajan and got run-out in the last ball of the over. That's the turning point of the game as SRH won the match by a margin of 3 runs.

Bumrah is a great bowler: Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi who smashed 76 runs for his side has been named Man of the Match. He shared his views in the post-match presentation saying, "I've enjoyed batting at three. It's important that if the openers have given a good start, then continuing that.

Or whatever the situation demands I'm trying to learn from that. Bumrah's a great bowler. Was just looking to react to whatever he's bowling. Depends on how the wicket is playing, how I can counterattack at that point.

If it's there and I can take it on, I will definitely go for the shot. If it's not there then I'll just look to take those singles-doubles," Tripathi was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"To win games is more important, happy I could do that today. Sometimes when a bowler is bowling well, how to score those runs. In T20 there cannot be a moment where you can slow down.

Every ball is an event so I just think what could be the best result. When you play it's obviously your dream to represent your country," he added.

However, during Hyderabad's inning, Priyam Garg who was batting on 10 runs has tried to pull the ball off Daniel Sams over the mid-wicket region. But Sanjay Yadav was underneath the ball and missed a sitter from his hands.
