IPL 2022, LSG vs DC: Watch - Quinton de Kock remained stunned after witnessing a 145+ beamer from Anrich Nortje

 

Coming to the ongoing rivalry between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul won the toss and opted to take the field. Prithvi Shaw opened the innings along with David Warner who has joined the squad after completing the Pakistan tour.

The right-handed batter has been ferocious against the opposition bowlers as he scored 50 off 56 runs of his side as David Warner was scored only 4 runs on the other end. However, he has been dismissed by Krishnappa Gowtham when he was batting on 61 runs.

David Warner followed him in the very next over bowled by Ravi Bishnoi and walked back to the dressing room with just 4 runs to his name. After that, the right-arm leggie continued his brilliant spell and cleaned the West Indies power hitter Rovman Powell for just 3 runs.

The skipper of the side, Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan joined together and added 75 runs for the fourth wicket partnership and remained unbeaten on 39 and 36 respectively. With the help of that, Delhi Capitals posted a decent total of 149 runs on the board.

In the second half of the game, Quinton de Kock opened the innings along with his skipper KL Rahul and straightaway started to attack the opposition bowlers.

Both the openers added 73 runs for the first wicket before Kuldeep Yadav gives the breakthrough by sending back KL Rahul for 24 runs. Evin Lewis also failed to contribute with the bat and walked back to the pavilion after being dismissed by Lalit Yadav for 5 runs.

After that, Quinton de Kock who looked well on one end has been dismissed by the left-arm chinaman when he was batting on 80 runs. However, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya and Aayush Badoni finished the match for Lucknow Super Giants, as this is their third win in this tournament.

Besides, Anrich Nortje bowled a fierce no-ball as Quinton de Kock somehow managed to protect himself and just clicked the ball that went for a six.
