After defeating West Indies in the 1st T20I, the Men In Maroon has once again up against India for the second match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday. Talking about the match, the skipper of West Indies, Kieron Pollard won the toss and asked India to bat.
Likewise in the first T20I, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the innings for India but this time the scenario was different out there. Ishan Kishan has been removed by Sheldon Cottrell for just 2 runs and Rohit Sharma failed to convert his start into a big one, after being dismissed for 19 runs by Roston Chase.
Suryakumar Yadav who performed well in the first game has also warmed the bench with a single-digit score. After a poor outing in the first match against West Indies, Virat Kohli backed himself with a different approach and scored 52 runs for his team.
Rishabh Pant and Venkatesh Iyer took the charge in the lower-order and despatched the opposition bowlers all around the park. In the end, India posted a challenging total of 186 runs with the help of Rishabh Pant's unbeaten 52 and Venkatesh Iyer's 33.

Chasing the target posted by India, Brandon King and Kyle Mayers opened the innings for their side and provided a decent start to the innings. Yuzvendra Chahal gave the first breakthrough for India by picking up the wicket of Kyle Mayers for 9 runs.
Following him, Ravi Bishnoi also kept his line and length tight which helped him to scalp the wicket of Brandon King who was batting on 22 runs. However, Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell took away the game from India as both the batters started to demolish the Indian bowlers all around the park.
Moreover, both of them have completed their fifty as the skipper, Rohit Sharma gave the ball once again to Bhuvneshwar Kumar who removed the dangerous Nicholas Pooran for 62 runs.
Moreover, he bowled well in the 19th over of the match and gave away just 4 runs against Rovman Powell and dangerous Kieron Pollard. In the end, India defeated West Indies by 8 runs and took the series by 2-0.
However, after the end of the match, Yuzvendra Chahal once again come up with a hilarious thing as he checked Rovman Powell's bat who smashed their likes in the Eden Gardens.
