India and Sri Lanka have faced off each other in the 3rd and final T20I match of the ongoing series on 27th February, Sunday. Talking about the match, Sri Lanka decided to bat after winning the toss and posted a decent total of 146 runs on the board.

The skipper of the side, Dasun Shanaka was the lone warrior for Sri Lanka who scored an unbeaten 74 off 38 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes. Chasing the target of 147 runs, it was once again Shreyas Iyer who set up the stage for his team and stood till the end and finished the match for India.

And, once again, Ravindra Jadeja played a quick cameo of 22 runs along with the right-handed batsman who remained unbeaten on 73 runs and helped India to whitewash Sri Lanka by 3-0.

After the end of the game, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj featured in the Chahal Tv, as the right-arm leggie hilariously trolled the medium pacer for his hair.

In the post-match presentation, the winning captain Rohit Sharma shared a few words and said, "It's a pattern of everything that comes together. We played very well.

Lot of positives came out from the series. Want to understand what kind of bench strength we have. Good to give opportunities to those guys," Rohit Sharma was quoted by Cricbuzz.

"Important to tell guys not to worry about your positions in the team. Want to fill whatever gaps we have. Keeping that in mind we want to move forward.

Going to be a big challenge but always nice to have guys in form. Once we reach Mohali we'll start thinking about the Tests," he added. 

Hence, after being whitewashed by India in the three-match T20I series, Sri Lanka will be looking to get their avenge in the upcoming Test match on 4th March, Friday in Mohali.
