ENG vs SA: Watch - Tristan Stubb's fiery 28-ball 72-run goes viral after terrible day out against Jos Buttler's England in the 1st T20I

England and South Africa clashed with each other in the 1st T20I match at the County Ground in Bristol on 27th July, Wednesday. Having a look at the game, David Miller, the skipper of South Africa won the toss and asked the hosts to bat.

Batting first, England posted a mammoth total of 234 runs on the board with the help of Jonny Bairstow's 90 and Moeen Ali's fabulous 18-ball 53-run knock.

Despite getting the worst start, the Proteas batter Reeza Hendricks played a crucial knock at the top order and scored 57 runs before being dismissed by the English all-rounder Moeen Ali.

The middle-order batters of South Africa haven't been much effective with the bat and returned to the dressing room with poor numbers. Besides, Tristan Stubbs, the young Proteas batter has come out from his shell and smashed a fiery 72 runs off just 28 balls which includes 2 fours and 8 sixes.

In the end, South Africa lost the match by a margin of 41 runs but thanks to the fantastic show from Tristan Stubbs who entertained the fans after England's inning.

Losing the match, David Miller shared a few words in the post-match presentation and also praised the youngster for his exceptional show with the bat. "The boys have been travelling around. It was a good wicket.

Phenomenal knock from (Tristan) Stubbs. They were 90-odd in the first and demolished us in the last 10. We dropped 4-5 catches and that didn't help. We will sort it out by tomorrow.

Played in the local T20 and a phenomenal competition. Nice to see him (Tristan Stubbs) do it on the big stage. (Lungi) Ngidi's five for 39 was phenomenal bowling," said David Miller.

The winning captain, Jos Buttler said, "Great performance from the team. Guys stood up. Jonny Bairstow batted well. He is having a great summer.

Dawid Malan has been incredibly consistent as well. Moeen Ali is one of the most stylish players. You are looking to give him more and more responsibilities. I think pacers bowled with great pace.

CJ (Chris Jordan) bowled the 18th over and changed the game a little. I think it is about getting a feel about what the guys are feeling. If you execute here, you get away with it," was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
