The 5th Test match between England and India is getting heated up day by day. The skipper of England, Ben Stokes won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. Cheteshwar Pujara opened the innings with Shubman Gill without Rohit Sharma.
James Anderson provided the first breakthrough for India by sending back Shubman Gill for 17 runs. The right-arm pacer continued his domination over Cheteshwar Pujara as he got him for the 5th time in his career.
After his dismissal, Matty Potts got both the wickets of Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli for 20 and 11 runs. Shreyas Iyer also returned to the dressing room after being dismissed by James Anderson on 15 runs.
But Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja took the charge and added dominated the opposition bowlers. Both the batters added 222 runs for the 6th wicket before Rishabh Pant was dismissed on 146 runs by Joe Root.

Ravindra Jadeja continued his form and scored a hundred while coming out to bat during the crunch situation of the game. Shardul Thakur has been removed by Ben Stokes on one run.
Mohammed Shami followed him in the next day, scoring 16 runs before handing a simple catch to Jack Leach off Stuart Broad. However, Ravindra Jadeja completed his hundred and got dismissed by James Anderson on 104 runs.
But Jasprit Bumrah looked in fabulous form, as he smashed 31 off just 16 balls which includes 4 fours and two sixes. Moreover, he smashed 28 runs in Stuart Broad's single over, as the side got all-out on 416 runs.
Following the total, Alex Lees and Zak Crawley opened the innings for England but had to walk back earlier to the dressing room. The stand-in skipper, Jasprit Bumrah removed both the openers for cheap scores and continued his spell by removing Ollie Pope as well.
