AUS vs WI, 1st Test Live: Watch - Marnus Labuschagne gifts his wicket to a part-time bowler
West Indies have gone one on one against Australia at the Perth Stadium in Perth on 30th November, Wednesday. Winning the toss, the skipper of Australia, Pat Cummins decided that they are going to bat.
Batting first, Australia posted a mammoth total of 598 runs on the board. David Warner and Usman Khawaja opened the innings for the hosts as Jayden Seales provided the first breakthrough by sending back Warner for just 5 runs.
Despite losing the wicket of David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne joined hands with the left-hander and added 142 runs for the second wicket before Usman Khawaja leave the battle after scoring 65 runs.
After the fall of another opener, Steven Smith came to the crease and both the batters proved why they are called the best in the longest format of the game. After completing his century, Marnus Labuschagne didn't stop and continued to dominate the opposition bowlers and scored a double hundred against the West Indies.

Following him, Steven Smith also looked unstoppable on the other end as he continuously countered the opposition bowlers all around the park. The skipper of West Indies, Kraigg Brathwaite provided the crucial breakthrough by sending back the well-settled Marnus Labuschagne for 204 runs.
It was a huge partnership between both batters as they added 251 runs for the third wicket. However, things didn't end up there as Travis Head also went to counterattack along with Steven Smith who looked unstoppable on the other end.
After his century, the flamboyant batsman continued his form and went on to smash another double hundred following Marnus Labuschagne. On the other end, Travis Head who was just looking well with willow was removed by the opposition skipper for 99 runs. After his fall, Pat Cummins decided to declare the innings on 598 runs.
With a mammoth total on the board, Kraigg Brathwaite opened the innings with Tagenarine Chanderpaul as both the openers put up a 74-run stand for the opening wicket at the end of Day 1. However, Marnus Labuschagne was gifted his wicket to Kraigg Brathwaite as he bowled a usual delivery by coming around the wicket.
