Daniel Christian offers free beer to get 11 Covid free players for the BBL Final

After defeating Adelaide Strikers, Sydney Sixers has once again made it into the finals of the Big Bash League which are going to be held on 28th, January at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne.

Talking about their previous game, Moises Henriques won the toss and decided that they will bowl first. They got a good start but didn't get the expected ending as Jonathan Well and Matt Renshaw added 63 runs in the last five overs and helped their side to post a competitive total of 167 runs on the board.

Both Jonathan Wells and Matt Renshaw remained unbeaten on 62 and 36 runs respectively. Chasing the target, Sydney Sixers didn't get enough contribution from the top and middle-order batters, despite Hayden Kerr who smashed unbeaten 98 and helped his side to join Perth Scorchers in the finals.

As Sydney Sixers is just one step behind for their third title in the Big Bash League if everything goes in their way. However, in the semi-finals against Adelaide Strikers, the Moises Henriques-led Sydney Sixers side played with their assistant coach Jay Lenton as most of their players have been affected by the Covid-19.

In that case, Daniel Christian posted a hilarious tweet on Twitter and wrote, "Shout out to anyone* in Melbourne that wants a game of cricket tomorrow night. My team is struggling to get 11 covid free, fit players on the park. Warm-up starts at 6.30pm at Marvel Stadium. Free beer afterwards, potentially out of a large cup. DM if keen. *no test cricketers."

After seeing his tweet, the former South African cricketer, AB de Villiers come up with a tweet and wrote, "I’m keen if u can guarantee me my 4 overs?" AB de Villiers replied to Daniel Christian.

After that, the speedster from England, Jofra Archer also joined the conversation and replied, "Do I have to pay subs?"
