The famous social media banter between Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer is back after England has been defeated by Australia by an innings and 14 runs. On the opening day of the match, Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to ask the opposition to bat first.

They got the expected start to their innings, as the skipper Pat Cummins has gone through the top-order of the opposition and got three wickets under his belt. Haseeb Hameed, Zak Crawley and Dawid Malan had been sent back by the right-arm for a duck, 12 and 14 runs.

However, the skipper of England, Joe Root has played well in the middle and scored 50 runs before being dismissed by Mitchell Starc. Then Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow added 25 and 35 runs each before throwing their wicket to Cameron Green and Micthell Starc. The lower-order batters Ollie Robinson and Jack Leach have been decent with the bat and scored 22 and 13 runs for their side.
