WATCH: Ben Stokes’ ‘snake of a delivery’ at Edgbaston sends Virat Kohli into disarray

Ben Stokes is now more known for his batting than his bowling, but what he did with the ball on Sunday at Edgbaston during England's fifth Test match against India raised many people's eyes. More significantly, Virat Kohli was the opponent, and he had no idea how to handle it.

India bowled England out for 284 in the first innings of the fifth Test match, and they reached 95/3 during the afternoon session of Day 3. At this moment, having established a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, they have a 229-run advantage and are the clear favourites to win the entire thing.

However, a half-hour earlier, when Virat Kohli was in the centre, the Indian supporters, along with the players and his colleagues, would have hoped for more. The talismanic hitter appeared to be in fine form as he scored 20 runs off of 40 balls before Ben Stokes' jaffa terminated his stay.

Although the delivery was of a fair length, Kohli was taken aback by the extra bounce of the ball. As a result, it emerged from his gloves before Sam Billings missed the opportunity to grab it. Joe Root was smart to take that on the rebound despite being well-positioned at the first slip. The former India captain's lean patch so persists.
