"This is so cheap and unprofessional" - Twitter reacts after Virender Sehwag uses cheap language while remarking on Virat Kohli's dance on the field
Jasprit Bumrah-led Indian team is busy with England in the (rescheduled) Test match at Edgbaston. Talking about the first two days of the game, England skipper, Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to take the field.
n the absence of Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara opened the innings with Shubman Gill. James Anderson got the first blood by removing Shubman Gill for 17 runs. After that, he removed Cheteshwar Pujara for 13 runs.
Following his dismissal, Hanuma Vihari who was struggled by Anderson has been removed by Matty Potts for 20 runs. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer also walked back to the dressing room with cheap numbers.
However, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja stood strong in the middle and added 222 runs for the 6th wicket partnership. Rishabh Pant played his natural game and scored 146 runs before being dismissed by Joe Root. Ravindra Jadeja also completed his hundred and scored 104 runs for his side.
At the end of the first innings, India posted a huge 416 runs with Jasprit Bumrah's quick-fire 31 off 16 balls. Zak Crawley and Alex Lees opened the innings, but both the batters had to walk back for cheap scores after being dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah.
Fans not happy with Virender Sehwag's reaction to Virat Kohli's dance:
The right-arm pacer also got the wicket of Ollie Pope for 10 runs. Then Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow added some runs but Mohammed Siraj sends back Joe Root for 31 runs. After that, Mohammed Shami got the night watchman Jack Leach for a duck.
Ben Stokes joined with the right-handed batter and added 66 runs for the sixth wicket before Ben Stokes was removed by Shardul Thakur for 25 runs.
Following that, Sam Billings and Jonny Bairstow put up a 92-run stand for the seventh wicket, before Sam Billings has been cleaned by Mohammed Siraj. However, Jonny Bairstow completed his hundred and got dismissed by Mohammed Shami on 106 runs.
In the end, England posted 284 runs on the board. India opened the innings with the same combo, but once again James Anderson removed Shubman Gill in the very first over of this inning. Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant have been well throughout the innings and added 66 and 57 runs before returning to the dressing room.
Besides, Virender Sehwag has been criticised after making a hilarious comment on Virat Kohli's dance, saying "Chamiya nach rahi hai" which means, "bar girl is dancing" in Hindi. Fans were not happy with his reaction and started to share their thoughts about this on Twitter.
