Wasim Akram was seen kicking the table after his side, Karachi Kings lost a close encounter against Multan Sultans in the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2023. Coming to the game, Imad Wasim, the skipper of Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to take the field. Batting first, Multan Sultans destroyed the opposition bowling alley as they posted 196 runs after losing just 2 wickets on the board. Mohammad Rizwan was the hero for Multan Sultans, as the right-handed batter smashed an unbeaten 110 off just 64 balls with the help of 10 fours and 4 sixes to his name whereas his opening partner Shan Masood also played well, scoring 51 runs for his team. Chasing the huge total, Karachi Kings got the expected start from their openers Matthew Wade and James Vince, as both of them added 72 runs for the first wicket before the left-handed batter got dismissed for 20 runs. We had to give credit to our bowlers: Mohammad Rizwan James Vince smashed 75 runs from just 34 balls with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. Imad Wasim fought well in the middle order as he remained unbeaten on 46 runs as his inning consist of only 5 sixes. In the end, Multan Sultans defeat Karachi Kings by just 3 runs. Mohammad Rizwan was adjudged Player of the Match for his unbeaten 110-run knock as he also shared a few words and praised the bowlers for their effort. "Whatever expectations we had about the crowd they have surpassed it on all fronts. Doesn't matter whether it's a weekday or weekend, they turned up in numbers. We had to give credit to our bowlers because we felt we were short by 10-15 runs and they all worked well in unison.
