You aren’t giving your cricketers a chance, says Ravi Shastri

Most of the fans wouldn't know about the infamous term "Conflict of Interest" in the world of cricket. Many cricketers including the former Indian skipper and current president of BCCI Sourav Ganguly and the head of NCA VVS Laxman have come through this issue.

It occurs to that person or individual who has possible signs of his aims and interests in any kind of situation. Talking about it further, the former head coach of the Indian cricket team Ravi Shastri has opened up about the matter and also claimed that a plethora of cricketers has gone under the radar.

Moreover, the 59-year-old wasn't happy with the individuals who are dragging the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the name of conflict of interest to the courts.

A masseur with the Indian team cannot work with an IPL team: Ravi Shastri

While speaking to Indian Express E Adda, Ravi Shastri said, "It is over the top this conflict of interest. I was not really for it. A masseur with the Indian team cannot work with an IPL team. Conflict of interest is absolute nonsense. It should be thrown into the bin.

For me to not be allowed to do commentary if I am India coach, how is that conflict of interest? Ever since it came out in Lodha report, I was against it. You aren’t giving your cricketers a chance. It’s absolutely nonsense, this conflict of interest clause, should be thrown into the bin."

Moreover, when he was serving as the head coach of Team India, Ravi Shastri wanted to go away from the responsibility which he was given due to the strict protocols of the Covid-19. "I have just got out of the bubble. I have not discussed anything with anybody.

I want to later come back to what I love. TV and media. I just want to coach on a grassroots level now. Politicians have done an excellent job in administering cricket in India. BCCI is one of the most efficient boards over the last 40 years," said Ravi Shastri.
