The sportsman spirit of the captain from Bangladesh won the hearts of cricket fans

Pakistan reached a historic milestone when it became the first team to clean Bangladesh in a T20I series in Bangladesh. While Pakistan won the first two games relatively comfortably, the third T20I went into the race as both teams fought hard for victory in the last game of the series.

The final over of Pakistan's chase in the third T20I captivated fans as it contained a lot of drama. As Pakistan needed 8 of the final, the Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah took it upon himself to deliver for Bangladesh. Mahmudullah used all his experience to fire three Pakistani thugs in the over, while only conceding a maximum on his first five balls. At the last ball, the already extraordinary over took another sharp turn.

On the last ball of the game, Pakistan's all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz withdrew in the middle of the delivery because he wasn't ready. Mahmudullah used all his experience and cleverly bent the delivery out from behind the tree stumps, but could not see whether the dough was ready or not.

When Nawaz backed away from the delivery, the ball hit the stump and some of the Bangladeshi players celebrated, but the referee paused the game and declared the delivery a dead ball. Mahmudullah, to his credit, did not complain about the decision and demonstrated true sportsmanship, by returning to his marker to deliver the final ball.

Mohammad Nawaz hit the final ball for four to give Pakistan a five-wicket victory. Mahmudullah's amazing sportsmanship earned him applause as the Cricket Brotherhood praised him on social media for his greatest respect for the game.

While many fans appreciated Mahmudullah's gesture, other fans were not impressed as they said the referee had already labeled it a dead ball and Mahmudullah had no choice but to bowle again.
