New Zealand is withdrawn from the 2022 U19 World Cup when returning home due to “minors' quarantine restrictions”
The World Cup will take place in the Caribbean from January 14th to February 5th. In the 14th edition of the 50-over competition, 16 teams compete in four groups at 10 venues in Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis. for the title and Trinidad and Tobago.
Uganda, which made its debut in 2004, plays alongside India, South Africa and Ireland in Group B. Defending champion Bangladesh plays in Group A with England, Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Group C includes Papua New Guinea (PNG), Afghanistan, Pakistan and Zimbabwe, while Group D consists of Australia, Sri Lanka, Scotland and hosts the West Indies.
About the U19 World Cup in 2022
The U19 World Cup 2022 will be held from January 14th to February 5th in the West Indies. In the 14th edition of the 50-over tournament, 16 teams will be divided into four groups. The games will be played at 10 venues in Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Trinidad and Tobago. This is the first time that the Caribbean nation has hosted the U19 World Cup. The two semi-finals of the tournament will be played on February 1st and 2nd, respectively.

Bangladesh are the current defending champions after beating India in a low-scoring thriller in the 2020 U19 World Cup final. In Group A they meet England, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. India, Ireland, South Africa and Uganda form Group B. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe are in Group C.
