Harbhajan Singh starring Tamil movie 'Friendship' teaser released

 

Harbhajan Singh is one of the best cricketers that India has ever produced. He made his international debut on 25th March 1998 against Australia in Bangalore and now, he became the third-highest wicket-taker for India who has plucked 417 wickets from just 103 games.

In addition to that, he bagged 269 wickets in the One-day format after representing his nation in 236 games. Bhajji is known for his top-class performance against Australia in the home Test series which held in 2001. During that series, the veteran was looked in a phenomenal form where he scalped 32 wickets including a hat-trick to his name. Moreover, he was been part of the team which won the 2007 ICC WT20 that held in South Africa and the 2011 ICC World Cup in India.

However, the off-spinner has made the headlines by featuring in the upcoming Tamil movie named "Friendship". He released the Hindi version of the teaser on Monday adding "Sharp, Crisp, Intense #FriendShipMovieTeas­er of my Movie is Here. Enjoy it, Guys!" on his Twitter account.

The movie features "Action King" Arjun Sarja, Losliya Mariyanesan and comedian Sathish. The teaser which released in three languages Hindi, Telugu and Tamil has got a good response from the fans and cricketers as Harbhajan Singh got plenty of wishes from Suresh Raina, VVS Laxman and others.

Bhajji is yet to announce his retirement from international cricket as he last played a game against the United Arab Emirates in 2016. Talking about his IPL career, the 40-year-old was once a regular thing in Mumbai Indians as he represented the franchise around 10 years before being released in 2018.

Chennai Super Kings bought him in the IPL Auction 2018 and played for the next two seasons. On January 2021, Harbhajan Singh confirmed that his contract with the Dhoni-led side has come to an end which he tweeted on his Twitter account. Currently, he has been scalped by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the IPL 2021 which is going to conclude in few months.
